Deccan plateau is a beauty in its own. It is filled with small hills protruding its surface almost every few kilometers. These hills provide an elevation for one to get a view of the places around. Especially during the winter when the places around is green it adds to the beauty.
One such hill in Ramnagara district of Karnataka is the Narayanagiri hills. It takes its name from the Lakshmi Narayana temple at its peak. The temple is a very simple structure with almost no care given to it.
The climb uphill starts with a off-roading track which is quite easy to navigate and then a few hundred not so steep steps to reach the peak. There are a set of new steps chiseled out recently along with guardrails which makes the trek even easier. The peak offers some nice view of the surrounding area.
Reach there early before the Sun is up to witness sunrise and hope that the day is clear without any clouds.
